Steven’s father, Abdulfattah ‘John’ Jandali, in his time was a political science professor from Syria whereas his mother was a speech therapist (Schieble). It was only after Jobs was placed for adoption that his biological parents tied the knot and give birth to Mona Simpson, their second child. However, Steve uncovered the identity of his biological parents only after he turned 27.
